It is a natural cave situated in a valley of Kaimur hill At Dist Rohtas. A small rock made of lime deposits in the form of Shivling is called Gupteshwar Mahadev ya Gupta Dham. A fair is held here on the occasions of Shivratri and Basant Panchami, in which huge crowd gather.
Its height from the floor to the apex of the dome is 101 feet (31 m) and its total height above the water is over 150 feet (46 m) feet.
